Sheriff Chuck T. Jackson
Sheriff Jackson took office in 2019. Sheriff Jackson has served the Sheriff's Office since 2003, in addition, during his service he'd attained the rank of a Sergeant & was a K-9 Officer. Sheriff Jackson's main emphasis is prevention with a special focus on the youth in Lawrence County. Sheriff Jackson's "Community Impact Program" has brought together many local agencies to provide prevention and recovery services to our youth in Lawrence County.
Lastly, Sheriff Jackson coordinated the Sheriff's Office's involvement in the D.I.C.E. (Drug Interdiction Co-Op Enforcement), which is a group of local law enforcement agencies brought together to fight the drug abuse epidemic.
